NDS is the leading nut processor and exporter in southern Chile.
It was founded with the purpose of delivering high–value walnuts and hazelnuts to tables across the five continents,
carrying the unique identity, quality, and differentiation of southern Chile.
Our initiative is built on strategic alliances among selected nut producers from the south of Chile,
with a strong focus on value creation through process innovation and continuous development.
This approach allows us to generate sustainable competitive advantages and offer a differentiated portfolio of products to global markets.
Today, NDS processes and commercializes fruit produced in our own orchards under strict quality policies and
in full compliance with BRC standards. In addition, we advise and support other farmers in the development of
their nut projects in southern Chile, contributing technical, commercial, and market expertise.

in the most demanding international markets, while maintaining close relationships with growers and end customers through our advisory, processing, and export services.

Matías Rodríguez is a Mechanical Engineer and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) as well as a Diploma in Finance. He has extensive experience and in-depth expertise in nut post-harvest processes and international marketing, combined with a strong entrepreneurial background in the agribusiness sector. He currently serves as General Manager of NDS group, where he leads strategic development, operational excellence, and commercial growth initiatives.
Carlos is a Forestry Engineer with extensive experience in the agribusiness sector, having built his career in forestry and agro-industrial companies related to a wide range of products, including fresh fruit, oats, hazelnuts, and walnuts. He is currently responsible for managing relationships with our international clients, with a strong focus on building long-term partnerships based on trust, collaboration, and mutual benefit.
Agrícola Enrique Sabugo S.A. (Agrícola ESC) is owned by the Sabugo family, which has a long-standing tradition in agribusiness, with participation in companies such as Empresas Gorbea, Agrofusion, and Ferias Araucanía, among others. Currently, Agrícola ESC manages approximately 600 hectares of hazelnut orchards located in Gorbea, Chile, operating under a long-term vision focused on productivity, quality, and sustainable agricultural practices aligned with NDS vision.
Inversiones Molulco currently operates 90 hectares of walnut orchards, along with a walnut and hazelnut cleaning and drying facility with a processing capacity of 1,000 tons per season. The company is rooted in a long-standing agricultural tradition in southern Chile, linked to German immigrants who settled in the region in 1936.
Frutos Rucalhue currently manages 100 hectares of producing walnut orchards, in addition to a walnut husking and drying plant with a capacity of 2,000 tons per season. As part of its long-term strategy, the company continues to develop new agricultural projects in the region.

Walnuts from south of Chile area, in particular, characterized for an even lighter color of their kernels,
which in addition to the purity of Alto Bio Bio fields, good agricultural practices implemented by our
farmers and an strong quality assurance process for our products allow us to offer premium class fruit, unique in the world.
Additionally, all NDS operations are based on sustainability with
focus on energy efficiency and fair trade.

Our hazelnut kernels are available from April to November in different packaging and quantities adjustable to your needs. Our standard offer format is described in the technical sheet below. We are working with top class-state of the art equipment which gives us very little mechanical damage. Exceptionally we can also offer inshell hazelnuts. Our main varieties are: Barcelona, Yamhill, Lewis, and Tonda di Giffoni.

Our orchards are located from the Biobío Region southwards. In particular, our walnut orchards are entirely located in the Biobío Province, covering a total area of 310 hectares, primarily planted with the Chandler variety, with expansion plans for an additional 100 hectares over the next three years. Our processing facility is strategically located next to one of our orchards, at Fundo La Granja in the municipality of Mulchén, approximately 530 kilometers south of Santiago, the country’s capital. Our hazelnut orchards are located south of the La Araucanía Region, at the beginning of Northern Patagonia, and currently cover a total area of 600 hectares, planted with the Tonda di Giffoni, Barcelona, and Yamhill varieties.
Our plant, Frutos Secos El Rincón SpA, is locted in km 3 camino caledonia, Mulchen - Chile.
It has about 10.000 square meters in which we have an inshell line which considers sizing decks, hand selection,
optical sorting selection and final packing with a capacity of 5.000 kg per hour.
Our plant also has a walnut shelling and packing line with a capacity of 4.000 kg per hour. All our equipment is top class industry which give us operational flexibility and premium final quality products with very low mechanical damage.
All our processes are BRC certified.
